Headquartered in Twinsburg, Ohio, The HC Companies operates six manufacturing locations and distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada. The company produces a wide range of planters, pots and accessories for the greenhouse, nursery and retail markets, including fiber and biobased solutions produced with post-consumer and post-industrial materials to meet increasing consumer demand for sustainable solutions.

The Deal

Following their acquisition of The HC Companies, Wingate Partners partnered with management to position the company for growth by investing in key personnel, production equipment, sourcing capabilities and commercial initiatives. The HC Companies possesses deep customer relationships as well as a strong brand associated with quality, service and reliability. Further, The HC Companies has numerous opportunities to grow organically and via acquisition.
