Trèves Group has acquired CTA Acoustics, a portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management
Trèves, a global leader in acoustic and thermal insulation solutions for the automotive industry headquartered in Paris, France, has completed the acquisition of CTA Acoustics, Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of acoustical and thermal insulation materials and parts for the automotive industry.
This acquisition advances Trèves’ strategy to reinforce its strong core product portfolio, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnerships and regional presence in North America, particularly in the automotive soft trim and noise, vibration and harshness market.
“Our management team and the shareholders are fully focused to position Trèves as a leading supplier in our market, bringing a broader support to our customers. The synergies will be carefully studied and implemented on a short-term basis in order to ensure that customers can count on a long-term, efficient and reliable supplier,” declares Frédéric Chaussat, Chief Executive Officer of Trèves.
Lincoln International acted as the exclusive buy-side advisor to Trèves, working closely with the company’s management team and other advisors, and also assisted Trèves in arranging the debt financing for the transaction.
