Spectragraphics has sold SMS Electronics and Total Electronics to New Kinpo Group’s Cal-Comp Electronics

Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, announced that Spectragraphics Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiaries, SMS Electronics (“SMS”) and Total Electronics (“Total”) (collectively the “Company”) have been sold to Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) Public Co. Ltd. (SET: CCET) a subsidiary of the New Kinpo Group. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

With operations in San Diego, California, Logansport, Indiana and Reynosa, Mexico, SMS and Total provide leading electronics manufacturing services (“EMS”) for customers in the aerospace, automotive, communications, military and defense, industrial controls, medical, renewable energy, security, and transportation markets. The Company’s services include design and engineering, rapid prototyping, printed circuit board assembly, ICT and functional test, box build and repair and maintenance. Cal-Comp is a $4 billion Thailand based EMS company and is part of the New Kinpo Group, a leading original design manufacturer (“ODM”) headquartered in Taiwan.

Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the Company, working with the senior management team throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and assisting in the negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction.
