Sitec’s Outsourced Engineering and Technical Recruitment businesses have been sold to Belcan
Headquartered in Bath, in the West of England, Sitec has over 65 years’ experience in the provision of outsourced design and technical services to a range of leading names in the aerospace, defence, nuclear and petro-chem sectors.
The Engineering services division provides comprehensive engineering solutions throughout the research, design, development and manufacturing phases supporting blue-chip companies including Airbus, BAE, Leonardo and Rolls-Royce. Over the past seven years, the Sitec Engineering services division has won over 12 awards in recognition of its performance in quality, on-time delivery and reactivity and includes overall supplier of the year awards on five occasions.
Offering temporary, permanent and managed services, Sitec’s recruitment division has a proven record of providing tailored staffing solutions. Utilising its core industry knowledge and experience, Sitec works in partnership with its clients, a number of whom have been clients for 20 years or more.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the Sitec Board, working closely with its shareholders and management team throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise, negotiating transaction terms and managing the due diligence process through to completion.
Edward Lethbridge, head of Lincoln’s UK Business Services Group, commented, “I am delighted that Sitec have found the perfect home with Belcan, an organisation which values its outstanding engineering heritage and which has ambitions to invest further behind its people to build a truly world class offering of scale. This is an important transaction for the sector and for the Medlock family, as they hand over control of the business after almost 70 years.”
