Sentinel Capital Partners has sold ECM Industries to nVent Electric

ECM Industries

ECM Industries, LLC is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical products, offering a wide range of critical connectivity focused electrical consumables, components and tools. ECM primarily serves residential repair / remodel, commercial maintenance and repair operations, utility, industrial and data center markets through its ILSCO, Gardner Bender and King Innovation brands. ECM is headquartered in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

The Deal

ECM announced it has signed an agreement to be acquired by nVent Electric plc. The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2023 and is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.

ECM complements nVent’s electrical power connection and grounding solutions portfolio, while also extending its cable management offering with complementary products, and adds tools and test instruments. ECM further positions nVent with the electrification of everything in high-growth verticals, such as commercial solutions, power utilities, data solutions and renewables.
