Rochester’s highly engineered solutions are often specified to customer requirements in demanding applications such as subsea communication, military and defense, oceanographic, oil and gas exploration, remotely operated vehicles and sensing.

Over its more than 225 year history, Rochester has developed and advanced its solutions offering to its current focus on armored electro-optical cables that provide strength and transmit power, control signals and data. Rochester’s “working cables” are specifically designed and engineered to move, twist and elongate in harsh environments. The company operates a 400,000 square foot manufacturing campus in Culpeper, Virginia that is strategically located near key customers.

The Deal

Lincoln International, through its global reach, facilitated a targeted sale process. The acquisition expands Hexatronic’s product offering within electro-optical submarine communication cables to include dynamic working cables that transmit electric signals and power in addition to transmitting optical signals. The acquisition also broadens Hexatronic’s application expertise and North American operating footprint.
