Mathematic is a leading post-production and motion design studio, specializing in visual effects and 3D animation. Headquartered in Paris with offices in Montreal and Los Angeles, the studio offers its expertise to the film, advertising, video game and music industries. Uniquely positioned at the crossroads of tech and art creation, Mathematic collaborates with prestigious global clients such as Adobe, Discord, LVMH, Mercedes, Coca-Cola, Netflix, Amazon, Pathé, Ubisoft, Epic Games and Tencent. The studio has won numerous awards and has delivered more than 200 projects to date.
The Deal
This investment will help Mathematic accelerate its international development and grow the Los Angeles and Montreal studios. Mathematic is also pursuing its development in France with the creation of a new studio in Montpellier and the extension of existing ones. The company will also keep investing in its proprietary production pipeline to remain at the forefront of technology.
Our Perspective
This minority deal, orchestrated by Lincoln, will provide Mathematic with new capital to accelerate its development while allowing Guillaume Marien, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, and associating key managers to remain majority shareholders of the group. NextStage AM will be the ideal partner to support the next step of the Mathematic adventure.
