MVI has sold Art Clinic to Aleris, a portfolio company of Triton
Art Clinic
Art Clinic was founded in 1999 and has grown to become one of the leading providers of private specialist care in Sweden offering orthopedics, spine surgery, aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. The company is comprised of almost 230 employees and operates clinics in four locations: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Jönköping and Uppsala, Sweden, and five satellite sites for consultation and aftercare.
The Deal
The acquisition of Art Clinic marks Aleris’ next step in the company’s continuous focus to become the most modern and accessible specialist healthcare provider in Scandinavia. Following the acquisition, Aleris will provide specialist healthcare services at 109 locations in Sweden. Jonas Edwardsson, Chief Financial Officer of Aleris Group, commented, “I have worked in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for 20 years, and this is definitely one of the best and smoothest transaction processes I have ever been involved in.”
