LDC has acquired D&D London from Conran Holdings and Caird Capital
Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to LDC and provided sector expertise, deal support and debt advice.
D&D London owns and operates over 30 of the most famous restaurants in London, Paris, New York and Tokyo. D&D stands for Des and David, who led the buyout of Conran Restaurants in September 2006. Since then the restaurant group has gone from strength to strength, opening ten new restaurants in London, Japan and Istanbul. D&D has also recently launched a new events business, Cinnamon Candy, and in 2012 opened a 80-bedroom hotel with two restaurants near Moorgate, as well as a warehouse conversion off Bishopsgate, all in the City of London. The deal will enable the company to fund further domestic and international expansion as well as invest in and enhance its diverse portfolio of outlets, which includes some of London’s most iconic restaurants.
