Lakers Holding AB has been sold to Summa Equity
Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, is delighted to have represented MVI in its sale of Lakers Holding AB (“Lakers”), a market leading provider of pump installations and maintenance services in the Nordics, to Summa Equity.
Lakers was founded in 2016 through a merger of three separate companies and has subsequently grown to become one of Scandinavia’s leading pump installation and maintenance services providers. Today, Lakers offers its services to the waste and waste water, building services and industrial end markets. Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, Lakers operates across Denmark, Norway and Sweden serving both the public and private sector with a total staff of about 130 employees and revenue of SEK 280 million.
Lincoln International’s team from Sweden was mandated by MVI to act as its exclusive investment banking representative, working closely with the Company’s management team and shareholders throughout the sale process. This included providing strategic advisory expertise and managing the negotiations and due diligence phases of the transaction.

Summa Equity was founded in 2016 and closed its first private equity fund in 2017 with commitments of SEK 4.7 billion. Its investment in Lakers is aligned with its strategic focus on Nordic small and mid-market companies with exposure to three megatrend-driven themes: resource efficiency, changing demographics and technology-enabled businesses.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
