Alpha Group is a French multi-regional leading roofing and insulation contractor, with strong capabilities in innovative green building solutions. The Group benefits from a strong market position in the French Southern regions and the Paris area, accelerated by an efficient buy-and-build strategy. Alpha stands out by its impressive track record in tendering and superior execution capabilities, reflected by entrenched relationships with a diversified client base, and primarily local public authorities. It also enjoys a virtuous business model spread across decentralized regional agencies and combining high-margin task-order contracts with projects generating incremental revenues.

The Deal

This transaction marks iXO Private Equity’s exit, capturing the full value of a synergetic combination achieved under their ownership between two southern regional players. Demonstrating strong conviction in the energy-efficiency equity story, Raise Invest stood out from a competitive dual-track process, involving both financial sponsors and strategic buyers with a view to leading Alpha’s capital reorganization along with the management team and BNP Paribas Développement reinvesting. Raise Invest will support Alpha in implementing a broad-based employee ownership program to give all key people and agency managers the opportunity to participate in the benefits of company ownership.
