ION sells, designs and installs residential solar systems in eight states across the United States, primarily in the Southwest with a growing presence on the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest.

ION’s management team had successfully established an industry-leading provider of full-stack solar energy solutions and were looking for a committed partner to support the company’s future growth prospects. As a proven asset of scale with a differentiated sales model, ION commanded significant scarcity value.
