Ingersoll Tillage Group has acquired Corporación Patricio Echeverria
Ingersoll Tillage Group, a North American manufacturer of tillage tools for the agricultural sector, announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Corporación Patricio Echeverría for an undisclosed amount. Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a global mid-market investment bank, advised ITG in the transaction. Lincoln`s role included mergers and acquisitions and debt advisory work.
With more than 100 years of history in more than 120 countries and with more than 1,300 employees, CPE, better known worldwide by its brand Bellota, has two businesses: Bellota Hand Tools (BHT) which focuses on the development, manufacturing and commercialization of high-quality hand tools (more than 18,000 references) for construction, gardening and agriculture uses, with commercial and manufacturing presence in Spain, México, Colombia, Brazil and the U.S. (under the brand of Corona in the U.S.); and Bellota Agrisolutions (BAS) that focuses on the development, manufacturing and commercialization of components for agricultural machinery (blades, cultivator points, tines, points for ploughshares, etc.), which has commercial presence in all worldwide agricultural areas and manufacturing facilities in Spain, India, Brazil and the U.S.
