Industrial Growth Partners has sold CLIMAX to Specialized Fabrication Equipment Group, a portfolio company of Gladstone Investment

CLIMAX

CLIMAX is a leading global designer and manufacturer of portable machine tools, welding systems and valve testing and repair systems used for non-discretionary, on-site, high-precision machining of critical infrastructure assets and equipment.

The Deal

Under Industrial Growth Partners (IGP)’s ownership, CLIMAX made strategic investments to expand its addressable market and geographic reach, develop new products, improve its sales organization and go-to-market strategy and improve customer service. CLIMAX also completed two strategic acquisitions which added new markets and product technologies. As a repeat client, IGP engaged Lincoln International to execute a competitive process, which resulted in the successful sale of CLIMAX to Specialized Fabrication Equipment Group (S.F.E. Group). This transaction further demonstrates Lincoln’s expertise within the tools sector.
