Illusive Networks – backed by premier investors including Team8, NEA, Bessemer, Spring Lake and Microsoft – is a class-leading identity threat detection and response (ITDR) platform that protects the critical assets of numerous leading global enterprises with three related solutions: discovering exploitable identity credentials, disrupting intruder lateral movement in networks and delivering pinpoint-accurate forensic intelligence for rapid blocking and remediation of malicious traffic. The Deal

Illusive was a venture-backed corporation, and the first company spun out of the company-building venture group Team8, which was co-founded by veterans of Israel’s military intelligence division, Unit 8200. Since its founding in 2014, Illusive has grown from a deception-based cybersecurity company focused on deploying deceptive tactics to protect the attack surface of corporations to a leading ITDR platform utilized by more than 120 global industry-leading companies. After having undergone several years of strong performance, Illusive sought a new partner to support multiple initiatives designed to accelerate growth, including developing innovative technological solutions, expanding wallet share with existing customers and deepening market penetration through synergies created by this new structure.
