Groupe Etienne has been sold to Alliance Etiquettes
Lincoln International is pleased to announce that it represented the shareholders of Groupe Etienne (“the Group”) in its sale to Alliance Etiquettes, portfolio company of private equity group Activa Capital. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Groupe Etienne is a leading player of the French wine label industry with a strong regional footprint in the main wine producing areas and a demonstrated ability to be a market consolidator. The Group benefits from an excellent reputation, providing best-in-class quality of services to its +1,000 active clients (mostly winegrowers, cooperatives and wine merchants). The product portfolio mainly includes adhesive and traditional labels as well as high-end marketing products sold to the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and wine and spirit sectors.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to the shareholders, working closely with the Group’s management team and shareholders throughout the sale process. Lincoln’s assignment included M&A advisory expertise and managing the marketing, due diligence and negotiation phases of the engagement.
