Groupe Berto has sold Simpliciti to Omnes

Simpliciti

Simpliciti is a French green technology “entreprise à mission” organization that partners with smart cities and territories to foster circular economy initiatives, in particular in the field of waste management and mobility. The group provides an agile combination of innovative software, in-house designed and assembled hardware and data consulting solutions to a balanced portfolio of private and public sector clients. Leveraging its 25-year sector expertise and a proven technological edge, the company serves more than 30 million citizens worldwide.

Simpliciti can rely on both a solid recurring revenue business model and a fast-growing market to further develop through innovation and acquisitions in France and internationally. The group positioned itself, among other things, as a key player in the progressive implementation of the “pay as you throw” mechanism in waste management (a mechanism allowing the adjustment of the household waste collection tax according to the quantity of waste produced and encouraging the reduction and better sorting of waste).

The Deal

Through its investment, Omnes Capital aims to support Simpliciti in accelerating innovation, developing new services and partnerships and running strategic acquisitions.
