The Deal
KidsKonnect is a sweet-spot transaction for Five Arrows Growth Capital (FAGC), at the intersection of its core investment themes: software and education. KidsKonnect is poised for strong organic growth as well as acquisitive growth to build a Pan-European platform.
Our Perspective
Martijn Koops, Managing Director in Lincoln International’s Amsterdam office, commented, “The European early education market is highly fragmented. Most countries have a small number of scaled providers and a long tail of single-site operators. Ongoing consolidation, together with accelerated technology adoption caused by the pandemic, is paving the way for a European software platform to support this growing international market while also enhancing the user experience.
Five Arrows Growth Capital
FAGC is part of the European private equity branch of the merchant banking division of Rothschild & Co. The private equity branch has over €4.4 billion assets under management worldwide with offices in Paris, France; London, U.K.; New York, U.S.; Los Angeles, U.S.; and Luxembourg. FAGC focuses on investments in high-quality growth small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the technology space, which demonstrate strong organic growth in their vertical and have substantial future expansion potential. The company looks to back world-class management teams to help them take their businesses to the next stage in their evolution. FAGC is a sector-focused investor and has a strong track record in partnering with and scaling vertical business-to-business software, education / edtech, healthcare and business services companies.
