Operating for more than 10 years, easylive.io pioneered the livestreaming solutions market, and today provides one of the most comprehensive browser-based production studios. Its flagship Software as a Service (SaaS) product enables users to mix any type of content from any source in real time to create original, interactive and TV-grade live content that can then be distributed across platforms and formats to reach the widest audience. All the tools needed to edit, mix and broadcast livestreams are combined into easylive.io’s all-in-one, user-friendly cloud solution, helping a wide range of top-tier clients within sports, gaming, esport, TV, media, corporates and non-governmental organizations (NGO), etc. reduce production and equipment costs while delivering creating innovative and interactive live experiences.

The Deal

Backed by Carlyle since July 2021, LiveU is a global provider of solutions, equipment and devices for video streaming and remote production. Building on an existing, synergetic business partnership, LiveU acquired easylive.io in May 2022 as part of a strategy to expand its cloud video platform, adding remote and collaborative tools for cloud-based and hybrid productions to its product portfolio. The acquisition will subsequently enable LiveU’s customers to operate quickly and easily from anywhere including tasks such as video switching, audio mixing, adding graphics, localizing content and bringing on guests.
