ProMik is a leading global provider of programming and testing solutions for series production in the electronics industry. With over 5,000 successful projects completed during the course of its history and more than 60 employees, the family-owned business has evolved into a global leader for sophisticated software solutions. The range of applications includes the mobility sector, where ProMik is supporting clients in autonomous driving, energy management and electric vehicles but also encompasses the consumer goods, e-bike and home appliances sectors.
The Deal
DBAG acquired a majority stake in the family-owned ProMik with the goal of enhancing operational efficiency in the thriving electronics manufacturing industry. The increasing demand for electronic components, driven by consumer needs, industry requirements, and the expanding mobility sector, served as a catalyst for this strategic move. Lincoln International supported DBAG by facilitating the arrangement of a well-suited financing package tailored to the acquisition and operational necessities of ProMik.
