ClearLight Partners has sold Switchcraft to HEICO Corporation
Lincoln International , a leading independent mid-market investment bank, announced that Switchcraft Holdco, Inc. has been acquired by HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI and HEI.A) through its Electronic Technologies Group. Switchcraft is a portfolio company of ClearLight Partners, LLC, a private equity investment firm based in Newport Beach, California. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1946, Switchcraft is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance, high reliability and harsh environment electronic connectors and other interconnect products. Switchcraft’s products include connectors, jacks and plugs, cables, patch panels and switches utilized in aviation, broadcast/audio, defense, industrial, medical and other applications. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the company operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Chicago, Illinois, Villa Park, Illinois, and Inchon, South Korea.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Switchcraft and ClearLight, working closely with the company’s management team and shareholders throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, marketing, negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction.
