Circle IT Solutions Limited has been sold to Arrow Business Communications Limited, a portfolio company of MML Capital
Circle is a fast-growing, U.K.-based, information technology (IT) managed services and digital transformation solutions provider. The company offers an end-to-end value proposition as a strategic IT partner to its enterprise-scale public and mid-market private, client base. In addition to holding Microsoft Gold accreditations, including expertise across the full Microsoft cloud platform (e.g., 365, Azure, Teams, Power Platform and Dynamics), Circle is differentiated through its leading position in the commercially attractive, higher education sector.
Arrow is a U.K.-based, managed services provider with capabilities that span collaboration, connectivity, cloud, IT and cybersecurity. The company received investment from MML Capital in January 2020 to support its growth strategy. Following increasing investment in cloud and managed services, Circle brings additional technical expertise to deliver on Arrow’s strategic ambitions. Arrow was attracted by the strong cultural alignment between the two businesses and Circle’s ability to further enhance Arrow’s cloud, Microsoft and networking capabilities.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Circle. Working closely with its management team and shareholders, Lincoln provided guidance on the strategic options available, prepared the company for sale and managed the entire transaction process and negotiation of key commercial terms. Lincoln’s thorough preparation and hands-on approach enabled a highly successful, wide, international, but expedited, one-stage transaction process.
