Cham has sold a majority stake in Innovative Food Processors to Ampersand Capital Partners

Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that IFP, Inc. (“IFP” or the “Company”), a subsidiary of Cham Foods (Israel) Ltd. (“Cham”), has sold a majority share of its business to Ampersand Capital Partners (“Ampersand”), a private equity firm based in Boston, Massachusetts.

Headquartered in Faribault, Minnesota, IFP is a leading provider of innovative powdered solutions and specialty ingredients to the global food and beverage, health and wellness and medical nutrition markets. IFP’s unique turnkey operations, from concept and product development to processing and packaging, have established the Company as a valued partner for many industry leaders such as Cargill and Novartis, among others. IFP’s customers sell their products through retailers, including mass merchants, grocery stores, specialty retailers and club stores worldwide.

Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial advisor to IFP, working closely with the management team and shareholders throughout the sale process.
