Carglass has acquired a majority stake in Maisoning Group

Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Carglass France, French subsidiary of the Belron Group (“Belron”), has become a majority shareholder in the Maisoning Group (“Maisoning”), a French company providing B2B and B2C housing services such as repair, renovation and emergency solutions (plumbing, locksmith services, carpentry, etc.).

Maisoning was established in 1967 and has grown into a national housing services company, currently serving around 120,000 clients annually with nearly 400 employees, including 200 construction workers and technicians. In 2016, the company generated more than Euro 40 million in revenue. The housing services market, which Belron has identified as particularly well suited to its long established skills and expertise, will allow the group to bring value to both end customers and insurance partners through a wide range of services associated with a high-quality brand. This acquisition represents Belron’s first advent onto the home services market in Europe.

The Prunay Group, which has owned Maisoning since 2010, is convinced that integrating housing services into Carglass France’s present portfolio represents the best opportunity for the group’s future development. The Prunay Group will retain a 20% stake in Maisoning and will continue to support its development.
