Bridgepoint has sold Protocol Education to Graphite Capital’s Teaching Personnel
Lincoln International, a leading independent mid-market investment bank, has announced its role as exclusive financial adviser to Bridgepoint in the sale of Protocol Education, a leading provider of recruitment services to the UK nursery, primary and secondary school markets.
Protocol Education, headquartered in London, is leading education recruitment brand with 18 branches across the UK and three offices overseas, collectively supplying 2,800 schools. It is the leading provider of staff to primary schools in London, where it has a market leading presence.
The combination of Protocol Education and Teaching Personnel creates the leading provider of supply teachers and support staff to schools in England and Wales. Post deal, they will continue to operate as independent businesses, preserving their own brands and branch networks, and serving their respective candidates and schools. Stephen Lawrence will remain as Chief Executive of that business and will join the executive board responsible for overseeing the enlarged group.
