Base Logistics Group has been sold to Staci Group, a portfolio company of Ardian
Base Logistics Group, headquartered in the Netherlands, is a global fourth-party logistics provider of integrated transport and warehouse management services. The group specializes in time- and mission-critical services for high-tech and medical industries. It operates a highly automated asset-light business model, enabled by its proprietary developed software platform, Klairy, and a finely meshed global network of third-party transport and warehouse service providers.
Ardian-backed Staci is a leading fulfillment and logistics service provider headquartered in France. The acquisition of Base Logistics Group strengthens Staci’s position in the management of complex logistics orders with complementary services and continues the expansion of its foothold in Europe and the United States. The new group relies on a solid network of 60 warehouses and 200 strategic stock locations, 2,500 employees and state-of-the-art, in-house developed software.
Martijn Koops, Managing Director at Lincoln International, commented, “We are excited to have represented Waterland and Base Logistics Group in this strategic transaction. Specialized tech-enabled and high-growth logistics service providers such as Base Logistics Group continue to attract strong global trade interest.”
Lincoln International acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to Base Logistics Group, working closely with its shareholders and the management team to realize the sale to Staci.
Lincoln International’s industry expertise, process management skills, hands-on approach and thoughtful strategic advice were instrumental in achieving this great outcome for all stakeholders.
