Aurora Resurgence Funds have sold Lexington Precision Corporation’s Rubber Group to Industrial Growth Partners
Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, has announced that Lexington Precision Corporation (“Lexington” or the “Company”) has sold its Rubber Group to Industrial Growth Partners. Lexington is a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Group (“Aurora”).
With manufacturing and engineering locations in Georgia, Ohio, and South Carolina, the Rubber Group is a premier manufacturer of precision-molded rubber components which are critical to the end products of customers in the automotive aftermarket, automotive original equipment market and medical device market. The Company operates as a full-service, vertically-integrated supplier, offering its customers a complete, cost-effective solution for the design, tooling, manufacturing and delivery of the most complex molded-rubber components in high volumes.
Steve Martinez, Managing Director at Aurora Resurgence, commented, “Lincoln executed a successful, targeted sale process under an expedited timeline that generated an excellent outcome for Lexington’s shareholders, management team and employees. Lincoln’s combination of local execution and global automotive and healthcare industry expertise identified the right potential acquirers and managed the process seamlessly for Lexington.”
Chris Petrossian, Managing Director and Head of Lincoln’s Los Angeles office, commented, “We are honored that Aurora selected Lincoln to lead this important transaction. Lincoln is also pleased to close our inaugural transaction for the new Western Region Investment Banking effort and, in the process, working closely with our automotive and healthcare teams to deliver the best execution for our client.”
Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Aurora and Lexington, working closely with the Company’s management team and shareholders throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, buyer coordination and contact, due diligence and final negotiation phases of the transaction.
