American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) designs, engineers and manufactures driveline and metal forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. AAM’s Commercial Vehicles business in India is a leading manufacturer of axles for light, medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks and passenger buses in India. The scope of the transaction includes AAM’s manufacturing facilities in Pune and Chennai. It also includes AAM’s Pune Engineering and Development Center.
The Deal
The client, in line with its strategic objectives, was eager to divest its commercial vehicle business in India and Lincoln International was pleased to assist throughout the sale process.
