Alphalink has raised €40 million of structured financing
Founded in 1999 by Alexandre Nicaise (Chief Executive Officer and majority shareholder), Alphalink is a leading business-to-business connectivity and unified communications managed service provider in France. The company benefits from a unique positioning among alternative players, being able to combine a comprehensive range of communications and services solutions and an exhaustive connectivity access through both own and third-party infrastructure.
The company operates an indirect go-to-market model, serving a diversified and growing portfolio of loyal partners anchored in their local areas. It generated over €64 million of sales in 2020, an average 15% increase per annum since 2017.
Lincoln International ran a targeted process focusing on lenders who would provide Alphalink with follow-on facilities whilst also factoring in sufficient operating flexibility for the management team to execute their business plan. The financing structure arranged by BNP Paribas and CIC Private Debt will strengthen Alphalink’s ability to further accelerate the deployment of its own fiber network, reducing dependency on third-party providers and creating strong competitive advantage.
Lincoln provided valuable strategic advice drawing from both their knowledge of the sector and the lending market. Their dedicated senior team and hands-on approach were instrumental in supporting us to achieve this great outcome in a tight timeframe.
