Adroit USA Inc., established in 2003 in Pleasanton, California, is a vertically integrated contract manufacturer that specializes in complete medical device manufacturing. It operates two ISO 13485-certified manufacturing facilities in Bangalore, India, along with an engineering applications development lab in Milpitas, California. The company has over 650 employees and specializes in high-precision injection-molded plastic components, precision stainless steel and nitinol components and fully assembled and packaged medical devices. Adroit USA’s “all under one roof” business model enables the company to deliver tailored solutions to operations of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

The Deal

The transaction involved acquisition of Adroit by Arterex, a portfolio company of InvestIndustrial. This integration strengthens Arterex’s ability to offer customers a cost-effective, high-tech alternative production source to China while leveraging Adroit’s existing capabilities and workforce to rapidly scale production.
