Michael Hough

I take time to get to know my clients and understand their strategic goals and expectations to assure a successful sale process and enrich relationships beyond the deal.

Michael is a member of Lincoln International’s Financial Sponsors Group and is focused on UK private equity clients. He has over a decade of investment banking experience during which he has developed lasting relationships with private equity professionals.

Michael has significant previous transaction experience across a variety of services in addition to financial sponsors coverage, including mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising. His experience spans both the United Kingdom and international markets, particularly the United States and Canada. Michael has closed transactions in multiple verticals including mining, energy, consumer, healthcare and industrials.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Michael worked at Nomura as a member of its Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Healthcare team and prior to that, its United Kingdom Investment Banking team. Previously, Michael worked on the EMEA Industrials team at Houlihan Lokey and the Metals and Mining team at Jefferies.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws with honors from University College London.
