Matthew Lee

As head of the UK office and co-head of the firm’s Healthcare Group in Europe, Matthew provides overall strategic and operational leadership for Lincoln’s activities in both London and Europe. Matthew has two decades of M&A advisory experience, executing both sell-side and buy-side transactions for private equity clients, publicly traded companies and privately held and family-owned businesses. His experience spans both the UK and international markets.

Matthew specializes in advising companies across many sub-verticals of the human ‘healthcare services’ ecosystem but is also a leader in the animal health sector. Matthew delivers on clients’ ambitions by providing hands-on, independent advice while leveraging the global Lincoln healthcare network.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Matthew worked at KPMG as a senior member of its healthcare M&A team for eight years. Earlier in his career, he worked at Rothschild & Co in the healthcare team and Altium Capital, both M&A advisory firms in London. Matthew also brings direct experience in the private equity market, having worked for two years at Lloyds Development Capital, a middle market-focused UK investor.

Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Bath and holds a Securities Institute Diploma.
