Lincoln International adds Chris Croft as Managing Director

Lincoln International, a global investment banking advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Chris Croft has joined as a Managing Director and co-head of the transaction opinions team in the firm’s Valuations & Opinions Group in New York.

Croft will provide fairness and solvency opinion advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, spin-off transactions, general partner-led continuation vehicles, dividend recaps, stock repurchases and corporate restructurings.

“The addition of Croft will bolster our transaction opinions team and extend our capabilities in delivering exemplary services and unparalleled advice to clients,” Ron Kahn, Managing Director and co-head of Lincoln’s Valuations & Opinions Group, commented. “The increased regulation in the private markets and overall focus on corporate governance is driving a greater demand for independent financial and valuation advice, making now an opportune time for his stewardship.”

Croft will co-lead the transaction opinions team with Chris Gregory, Managing Director. Gregory joined Lincoln in 2019 and has built the firm’s transaction opinion and board advisory practice, offering complementary services to the firm’s other financial advisory services and driving 44% year-over-year growth.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Croft spent the past 25 years at Houlihan Lokey, most recently as Senior Advisor and co-head of the fund opinion group and previously as Managing Director and co-head of the transaction opinion group.

“I am incredibly excited to join Lincoln and augment its broader transaction platform,” Croft said. “I eagerly anticipate partnering with the firm’s private equity and corporate clients to provide them with sound fairness and solvency opinions that meet their objectives.”
