Lincoln International adds Carlos Candil as Managing Director

Lincoln International, a global investment banking advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Carlos Candil has joined the London office as a Managing Director in the firm’s Energy, Power & Infrastructure (EP&I) Group.

Carlos will head Lincoln’s European energy transition efforts, providing mergers and acquisitions and capital advisory services to financial sponsors, corporations and developers.

“Business leaders and investors are very focused on global energy transition strategies – not just to remain compliant in an increasingly regulated space, but also to steer innovative approaches and delivery for customers,” Guillaume Suizdak, Managing Director and head of Lincoln’s European Industrials Group, commented. “Carlos holds a unique track record built on numerous cross-border transactions for leading global investors that are capitalizing on a ‘new normal’ in the world: the future of energy. We’re looking forward to integrating his expertise in Europe and globally.”

Lincoln’s Energy, Power & Infrastructure Group has extensive experience advising companies operating across the thriving EP&I market. The team is closely connected to the firm’s global Industrials and Business Services Groups and integrates thinking and products to yield meaningful client results.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Carlos was a Managing Director and European Head of Power and Renewables at Cantor Fitzgerald. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Jefferies in the power sector group.

“I am passionate about driving groundbreaking outcomes for clients who are strategically navigating an important – and often shifting – energy landscape,” Carlos stated. “I look forward to leveraging my expertise on the Lincoln platform, where my global colleagues are attuned to the trends, regulatory implications and nuance that make our jobs particularly exciting and relevant.”
