John McManus Joins Lincoln International’s Electronics Group
Lincoln International, a leading mid-market investment bank, today announced that John J. McManus has joined the firm as a Senior Director in its global Electronics Group, effective immediately. He will be based in Lincoln International’s New York office.
McManus is a well-known Wall Street analyst and banker, having spent his career covering the electronics industry. His many industry relationships will prove beneficial to Lincoln International’s clients and will help to expand and deepen the firm’s electronics expertise. In addition to being an industry expert in EMS and electronic interconnects, McManus is also a noted authority in power electronics and embedded computing.

McManus spent the last 18 years with Needham & Co., working as an equity analyst and more recently as Senior Advisor to the firm’s industrial banking group. He was a founding member and Managing Director in Needham’s equity research department. During his extensive career as an equity research analyst, McManus was twice nominated as the leading analyst covering the electronics industry by The Wall Street Journal. Prior to joining Needham, he was a Vice President at Shearson Lehman, Bear Stearns, and Thomson McKinnon.
McManus holds a bachelor of electrical engineering degree from the University of Detroit and a master of business administration degree from Rutgers University.
