Pioneer Power Solutions sells transformer businesses to Mill Point Capital
Headquartered in Fort Lee, New Jersey, Pioneer Power Solutions (Nasdaq: PPSI) manufactures, sells and services electrical transmission, distribution and on-site power generation equipment. Its transformer businesses, including Pioneer Transformers Ltd., Jefferson Electric, Inc., Bemag Transformer Inc. and Harmonics Limited LLC, manufacture specialty electrical transformers for utility, commercial power, industrial manufacturing, construction and backup power markets and has locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The transformer businesses have an operational history of over one-hundred years and is recognized across North America for innovation, customization, quality and reliability.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Pioneer Power Solutions, working closely with management throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, marketing, negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction.
