CC Industries has acquired Gillig
Lincoln International, a leading global middle market investment bank, today announced that CC Industries, Inc. (“CCI”) has acquired Gillig Corporation (“Gillig” or the “Company”) from privately-held Herrick-Pacific Corporation. Lincoln International acted as the financial advisor to CCI. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
Gillig is a leading manufacturer of diesel- and hybrid-electric-powered transit buses for municipalities and corporate clients. Located in Hayward, California and established in the San Francisco Bay area since 1890, Gillig has developed a reputation for building heavy-duty transit buses that are reliable, durable, and economical. The Company is one of a limited number of U.S. producers and is well-positioned to benefit from the near- and long-term trends associated with public transportation.
Lincoln International worked closely with CCI throughout the sale process, from initial evaluation of the opportunity through final due diligence and negotiating the final terms of the transaction.
“Our close relationship with Lincoln proved valuable in this process,” said Bill Crown, Chief Executive Officer of CC Industries, Inc. “Through their ongoing analysis, expert advice and persistence throughout the process, Lincoln was able to facilitate an outstanding outcome for CCI. The Company has achieved great success under the prior owners, and we look forward to welcoming Gillig, its customers, and its employees to the CCI family.”
