Argantis has sold frostkrone Tiefkühlkost to Axa Private Equity
After a holding period of three and a half year, during which frostkrone focused its product portfolio on fingerfood and snacks, strengthened the organisation and processes and expanded the distribution, Argantis and the management decided to divest their shares to an investor that would accompany the further expansion of the company. Together with the management, which will partially anew invest in the company and will remain engaged long-term in frostkrone, Axa will, aside from further improving the organisational setup, focus on the internationalisation of the business as well as making the products better known to a larger customer base.
frostkrone Tiefkühlkost GmbH, an internationally active company which currently generates most of its sales in Germany, produces fried, stuffed and processed frozen food with a wide product mix (fish, cheese, vegetables, baked goods). Classics are for instance mozzarella sticks, chili cheese nuggets or fresh cheese jalapeños.
