Graycliff Partners has sold Rutland Plastics to The Riverside Company

Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, has announced that it represented Rutland Plastics, Inc. (“Rutland” or the “Company”) in its sale to The Riverside Company. Rutland was a portfolio company of Graycliff Partners. The Transaction was led by Lincoln International’s Global Chemicals Group and was completed on August 30, 2013.

Pineville, NC-based Rutland Plastics is a leading provider of premium screen printing inks for the apparel industry and plastisol compounds for an array of industrial and automotive end uses. Rutland offers the greatest breadth and depth of innovative specialty inks for use in leading global textile brands, including Nike, Disney and Adidas, while maintaining strong historical relationships with its core industrial customer base. With manufacturing operations in North America, South America and Asia, Rutland supplies over 1,100 customers in the most active textile manufacturing centers, globally. The Riverside Company plans to leverage Rutland’s proven product development capabilities to grow the Company’s market share, as the screen printing industry transitions towards more environmentally friendly inks. Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Rutland and Graycliff Partners, working closely with the Company’s senior management team throughout the transaction process.
