ABC Laboratories has been sold to EAG
Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Analytical Bio-Chemistry Laboratories, d/b/a ABC Laboratories (“ABC” or the “Company”), has been acquired by EAG, Inc. (Evans Analytical Group) (“EAG”), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC. The Company was owned by a group of shareholders led by Celerity Partners, a private investment firm based in Los Angeles, California. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, ABC is a leading contract research organization providing product development and analytical testing services for diverse end markets. ABC offers a complete range of agricultural product development and GLP-compliant environmental testing services for the agrochemical industry through its Environmental Services division. In addition, the Company offers a comprehensive suite of development and cGMP- and GLP-compliant testing capabilities for small and large molecule therapies and medical devices through its Pharmaceutical Services division. The Company’s full-service solutions support clients throughout the product and compound development continuum, from pre-clinical testing through post-commercialization.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to ABC’s shareholders and the Company, working closely with the management team and board of directors throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory services and managing the marketing, due diligence and negotiation phases of the transaction.
