TimePartner Group has been sold to funds managed by Autus

Lincoln International represents a group of international investors and lenders in the sale of TimePartner Group to funds managed by AUCTUS Capital Partners AG (“AUCTUS“) and Management.

AUCTUS and Management of TimePartner Group have jointly acquired 100% of the shares in TimePartner Group. The acquisition of TimePartner has been executed in a very complex environment with sellers including renowned international institutions. The transaction was financed in large parts by equity of the new owners. TimePartner’s balance sheet has been restructured and relieved from its former debt. This creates an excellent road for TimePartner to continue its success in the German temporary staffing market. No information on the purchase price has been disclosed.

TimePartner is a leading German provider of temporary staffing services with approx. 8,000 employees and 100 branches. In 2013, the Company generated revenues of more than Euro 200 million. TimePartner offers its HR and temporary staffing services to large corporates and the German Mittelstand.

Sven Kilian, CEO of TimePartner: “The German temporary staffing industry has seen significant regulatory changes over the last years. Despite all these new pressures, we believe that we can serve our clients and generate further growth through a unique positioning in strategically attractive segments and a convincing, strong customer focus.” The new Management owners Sven Kilian and Torsten Droste (CFO) believe in a strong future of the German temporary staffing industry and the success of TimePartner. Management strives to further increase TimePartner’s leading market position through organic growth. “Selected acquisitions in IT-services or other speciality segments have been planned. Other regional add-ons are possible”, added Dr. Ingo Krocke, CEO of AUCTUS.

With more than 80 investments over the last 10 years AUCTUS is one of the leading private equity investors in Germany. Originally, AUCTUS founded TimePartner Group in 2004, and subsequently developed the Company to a Top-10 position in the temporary staffing market in Germany within a few years, both through organic growth and add-on acquisitions. After the first sale of TimePartner Group, AUCTUS remained a strong partner of the Company, which ultimately led to the new investment into TimePartner Group.

Dr. Ingo Krocke, CEO of AUCTUS: “With the foundation of TimePartner Group 10 years ago, we have started a great success story. Despite the extremely difficult market environment, TimePartner Group has continued to remain a strong player in the German temporary staffing market.”
