Lincoln International Expands its Special Situations Practice
LOS ANGELES – Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global, mid-market investment bank, announced today that it has further expanded its Special Situations Group with the addition of Sherman Guillema as a Vice President in its Los Angeles office. Sherman brings significant experience advising on complex financial restructuring transactions and will assist in transaction execution and new business origination for Lincoln International’s restructuring and special situations engagements.
Sherman has over nine years of financial advisory, investment banking and distressed debt investing experience. He has advised clients on many complex financial restructuring transactions, both in and out of court. He has also invested in numerous distressed companies. Sherman’s experience advising and investing in distressed companies spans multiple industries enabling him to provide a tailored perspective for each client throughout the restructuring process.

Prior to joining Lincoln International, Sherman was a Senior Credit Analyst at Armory Capital where he was responsible for investing in stressed and distressed companies. Prior to Armory Capital, he was a Vice President at Seaport Global and Armory Securities where he led the execution of special situations and restructuring engagements. Sherman began his career as an investment banking Analyst, then Associate, at Wedbush Securities. Sherman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California where he graduated cum laude.
