Triton Partners has sold SEDIVER to Blackstone

SEDIVER

SEDIVER is a leading manufacturer of toughened glass insulators, a mission-critical element for the electric transmission grid. The company supports the energy transition by enabling the reliable and sustainable transmission of electricity, while facilitating the electrification megatrend. SEDIVER’s products are critical to the modernization of the electrical grid in developed economies, while powering the new build-out of grid systems in global emerging markets. The Deal

During Triton Partners’ ownership period, it accelerated SEDIVER’s growth by supporting its geographical expansion into the U.S. market, strengthened its leadership and its governance and compliance procedures and helped management carry out a comprehensive improvement of the company’s manufacturing footprint. Triton and SEDIVER turned to Lincoln International, given its industry expertise, deep buyer relationships and ability to manage global processes. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Our Perspective

Sean Bennis and Gianluca Banfi, Lincoln International Managing Directors who led the transaction, commented, “SEDIVER is the leading brand in glass insulators for high voltage transmission markets. Triton, Erik Göthlin and the rest of the leadership team have built an impressive platform and they have a tremendous opportunity ahead to capitalize on the long-term tailwinds and growing demand for glass insulators. We are excited for this new partnership with Blackstone and all of its future successes.”
