Umar provides fairness and solvency opinions to corporate boards and private equity sponsors with a focus on recapitalizations, fund-to-fund transfers, carve-outs, related-party transactions, capital raises and corporate restructurings.

Umar leverages his extensive experience of over a decade in delivering opinions to companies across all industries to provide clients with sound, reliable and independent advice.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Umar was an Associate Director in KPMG’s corporate finance group where he provided financial advice to clients across a diverse range of industries.

Umar earned a Bachelor of Commerce with high distinction from McGill University and holds the CPA and CA designations.
