Lincoln International adds Dr. Simon von Witzleben as Managing Director

Lincoln International, a global investment banking advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Dr. Simon von Witzleben has joined as a Managing Director in the firm’s Valuations & Opinions Group in London.

Simon will head Lincoln’s European transaction opinions offering as part of the firm’s Valuations & Opinions Group, providing fairness and solvency opinion advisory services to private equity firms, public and private companies and boards of directors. He brings over a decade of experience in delivering independent advice for many types of situations including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), recapitalizations, carve-outs and GP-led secondary transactions.

In 2023, Lincoln’s global Valuations & Opinions Group completed more than 50 transaction opinions and provided recurring quarterly portfolio valuations for over 5,000 portfolio companies in the private capital markets.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Simon was Managing Director and Co-Head of EMEA Transaction Opinions at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) where he spearheaded the practice’s expansion.
