COTTA Collection is one of Europe’s leading white-label manufacturers of upholstered furniture in the low-to-medium-range price segment. Products include upholstered sofas, armchairs and beds, which are manufactured in 14 production sites across Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina with more than 5,000 employees. COTTA Collection has a pan-European sales footprint and serves a prestigious customer base comprising the “who-is-who” of the European furniture retail industry, including the leading online furniture players.
The Deal
Following a comprehensive process involving both strategic and financial investors, Afinum sold its stake in COTTA Collection to L-GAM and Gschwend AG. The transaction will enable COTTA Collection to follow its strategy with a strong, long-term-oriented partner.
