Target Description: Divide is a software company engaged in designing and developing enterprise mobile solutions to create a secure workspace on employee devices.
Our Perspective
“We had worked with Divide for over a year, facilitating nearly a dozen partnership discussions,” stated Mark Yurko, Managing Director at Lincoln. “During this time the board garnered a strong view of its strategic alternatives when interest emerged. At the time, mobile device management (MDM) was viewed as largely consolidated and commoditized, so it was our charge to educate buyers on Divide’s differentiation from MDM and how the two can be complementary.”
“We were excited to help Google make its initial push into the enterprise space, with Divide forming the cornerstone of its new ‘Android for Work’ offering,” noted Clark Spurrier, Managing Director at Lincoln. “We look forward to continuing to work with Google and other mobility leaders as they crystalize their enterprise mobility strategies across security, management, collaboration, etc.”
