The Deal
Brightspot was a privately held corporation majority-owned by the founders, with a meaningful minority investment by Carrick Capital Partners. Since its founding in 2008, Brightspot has grown from a product company with professional services to a leading, cloud-based management platform utilized by segment leaders on a global scale. After having undergone several years of consistent growth, Brightspot sought a new partner to support multiple initiatives designed to accelerate growth, including developing innovative technological solutions, expanding wallet share with existing customers and deepening market penetration. With Tailwind Capital as a partner, management will continue to realize its vision for the company’s continued success.
